Beach Clean Up

Help your environment and clean one of New Jersey's busiest beaches during Labor Day weekend. A shuttle will depart Kean University and take volunteers to Sandy Hook National Recreation Area where they will help clean the beach. Following the beach clean-up all of the students will be able to stay on the beach and enjoy one of the last beach days of summer FREE of charge! LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED!

Dress appropriately for the beach clean up as well as for your stay at the beach.

Cleanup supplies and gloves will be provided.
For the cleanup:
-Jeans/Shorts
-T-shirt
-Sneakers/Work Boots
-Hat

For your stay at the beach:
-Bathing Suite 
-Sun Block
-Towels

And any other items that you might need to enjoy your day. Please refrain from bringing excessive electronic gadgets or other valuables to avoid damage and loss.
