
Mu Kappa Tau Marketing Honor Society
About
Minimum Criteria to Become a Member-
Membership in the Mu Kappa Tau National Honor Society is limited to
Marketing Majors with a GPA of at least 3.25 or higher, who are Juniors
in the top 10% of their class and Seniors in the top 20% of their class.
Required Dues-
The dues are charged by the Mu Kappa Tau National headquarters, and are approximately $60
Required GPA-
3.25 or highter
Service Project Requirement- No
Student Recruitment-
Students who are Marketing Majors are nominated each Spring semester by the
Faculty Advisor of the Kean University Chapter of Mu Kappa Tau, based upon their GPA as a junior or senior.
Student Induction- Students are inducted during the spring semester
National Association Affiliation-
Mu Kappa Tau National Marketing Honor Society was founded in 1966 by members of Pi Sigma Epsilon, the National, Professional Fraternity in Marketing, Sales Management and Selling. Today, Mu Kappa Tau remains the only National Marketing Honor Society to offer its members both national recognition and campus chapter affiliation. It remains the only National Marketing Honor Society to be recognized by the Association of College Honor Societies.Mu Kappa Tau exists to recognize academic excellence and to encourage individuals seeking a life-long commitment to an exceptional standard of ethics and achievement within the marketing milieu.
