Event Time and Date

Wednesday, August 1 2012, 5:00 PM to Monday, August 20 2012, 2:00 PM

It’s that time of year again to start to plan for Kean’s annual Campus Awareness.  This year Campus Awareness will be a part of the New Student Orientation on Friday, August 31, 2012 from 1:30 p.m. -5 p.m.  This is great opportunity for Funded, Non-Funded, and Student Governments (not open to Greek Letter Organizations), to recruit freshman and transfer students by showcasing your involvement and connection to the University.   This year’s theme is Kean University Living the Dream: Class of 2016.  There will be approximate 1,800 freshmen in attendance at New Student Orientation.

At Campus Awareness, wear your club’s appeal, bring your members, and recruit some new members. Don’t delay, register today!

Space is limited and registration is required for participation.  Tables will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.  All registration can be completed on Cougar Link at: (you must be logged in to register).  The deadline to register is August 20, 2012 at 2 p.m.  Only one representative per group participating is required to sign up.  At least 2 representatives should be present at the table at all times.

Student groups will not have access to electrical outlets during Campus Awareness.  If you choose to use any electronic devices, such as a laptop, be sure it is sufficiently charged.
