Event Time and Date
On April 22, 2017, Kean University is hosting its Cougars That Care Day of Service event. Students will have the opportunity to volunteer at various service events throughout the surrounding community. All student groups, athletic teams and student organizations (of all types) are encouraged to participate on Saturday, April 22, demonstrating Kean University's students' commitment to community service.
VOLUNTEER PROJECTS ARE NEEDED!
If you are a member of a Kean University student group, organization, athletic team or department and would like to organize and host a service project within the local community for Cougars That Care, please let us know! Simply send your name, organization, contact information and a description of what type of service project you are looking to host to email@example.com and a member of the Center for Leadership and Service community and volunteer service team will help you plan and advertise your service project!
Here is a sampling of what is scheduled:
- Habitat for Humanity
- Atria Senior Living
- Community Food Bank of New Jersey
Pre-registration for any Cougars That Care event is required - space is limited! To pre-register for any Center for Leadership and Service project, please complete the online form in Cougar Link by going to https://kean.collegiatelink.net/form/start/103914.
